Also, I homeschool my kids because I love to teach, I pin on pinterest and I have lots of nice things that I enjoy :)
It's all about your heart. Hopefully you don't know me personally so that's why you misunderstood my post. Most people who know me know that I am not ugly about things like this. I have family who lives far away and I also print up my blog into a book as a record of our life. So, my point in blogging is really for my family to know what it is I am doing and so that years from now I don't forget what I did!
I have daughters who are being pressured already to have a "career". Whether they choose to or not is up to them, but I want to be sure they know that being a stay at home mom IS a career and one that God is pleased with. :)the Curriershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00265281914061075677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2963948499873370836.post-47523176217590450722012-04-19T21:19:56.583-04:002012-04-19T21:19:56.583-04:00It is not a sin for a mom/wife to "work."...It is not a sin for a mom/wife to "work." Proverbs 31 references the woman who:

13 ... selects wool and flax
and works with eager hands.
14 She is like the merchant ships,
bringing her food from afar.
15 She gets up while it is still night;
she provides food for her family
and portions for her female servants.
16 She considers a field and buys it;
out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.
17 She sets about her work vigorously;
her arms are strong for her tasks.
18 She sees that her trading is profitable,
and her lamp does not go out at night.

P.S. It is also not a sin if you don't home school your kids. Or to pin on pinterist. Or to enjoy nice things.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2963948499873370836.post-61068208450356770612012-04-19T12:02:31.469-04:002012-04-19T12:02:31.469-04:00Oh my - thanks for the reminder that I need to go ...Oh my - thanks for the reminder that I need to go cook up some big batches of food!! My husband and I have decided to homeschool our 3 children and today is kindergarten registration. I was in a bit of a panic wondering if this is what God really wanted me to do and if in fact I can do it. I don't believe in coincidences. I know God led me to your blog. Thank you for you inspiring insight.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2963948499873370836.post-62191561082373421692012-04-18T15:39:05.853-04:002012-04-18T15:39:05.853-04:00i love your soap box and i love every word you sai...i love your soap box and i love every word you said.
so glad you're my sister :)rachellechasebloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18279892084527323930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2963948499873370836.post-12439204821919752042012-04-18T07:21:01.984-04:002012-04-18T07:21:01.984-04:00that was a great post. thanks for the words of wi...that was a great post. thanks for the words of wisdom :)bethanyhttp://bethany-chase.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2963948499873370836.post-21268906819454004492012-04-17T19:44:22.765-04:002012-04-17T19:44:22.765-04:00One of the best posts ever! You've been my mentor, encouragement and friend. The joy you find in your husband and children literally radiates. I will be forever grateful that He brought your family here to spread the Gospel. You're a gem. I'm going to miss you!Reaganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09382076276232802216noreply@blogger.com
