More snow

For real? More snow?? I was up today shoveling more snow and treating the walkways (before my 16 oz. of cold water and coffee, I might add) for the CEF meeting, which was to be held at our home today. Just as I walked into the house Erika tells me she just got a phone call from the staff - yup, you guessed it. Meeting Cancelled! Not a great start to my day...this is how I felt at first. But, God quickly reminded me that my day is not always going to go according to my plans. He is in control of each moment of each day. I am thankful for the sovereignty of God. If it were not for His Providential guidance throughout each day, I don't know what I would do. He is good. And I just know He is in control. Think about this verse for a second...Mark 10:30 "But the very hairs of your head are all numbered." The very God who created Heaven and earth, and also created you and I, is calling the shots; right down to the very hairs of our head. He pays that much attention to us, His dear children. I'm sure He can handle my day's activities. After all, I trust Him for Eternal Life. The least I can do is trust Him throughout my day.
