Wow! God is really working! Tuesday night was the second Good News Club at the Salvation Army in Manchester. We had 23 children there. It was encouraging to see that some of the kids brought friends. They must have really liked it last week. Matt welcomed the kids and as usual "connected" with them right away. One boy in particular, Eliezer, took a real liking to Matt. He acts like they're best buddies now! He payed such close attention while Matt was teaching the Bible verse. These kids are all so unique. We find that even though we leave at the end of the night, we take the kids home with us in our hearts and in our prayers the rest of the week.
Now, for the best part. 5 children prayed to receive Jesus as their Savior!!! That's what we pray for and it brings so much joy to us! I can only imagine the celebrating going on in heaven!
