Matt and I went away for the weekend to the Word of Life Inn in Schroon Lake, New York. Matt graduated from the WOL Bible Institute in 2001 and we both have great memories of this place. The main speaker for the weekend was Dr. Johnny Hunt. His 45 minute messages seemed like 5 minutes to Matt and I. When he said he was going to close, we didn't want him to! He spoke with such passion and it was contagious. God spoke to us incredibly through him. We would go back to our room with so much to talk about. We left feeling refreshed and renewed.
I am so blessed to have Matt for a husband. We celebrate 15 years of marriage this June. After all those years we are more in love than ever. He really is the most amazing man I know! He loves God, me and our kids so genuinely and shows it every chance he gets. He is so caring...all in a macho sort of way :)
We both look forward to what God has in store for us not only with our family but in our ministry. God has given us passion for reaching kids (and families) through the ministry of CEF and we can't wait to see what happens.
