I got a call from my mom on Monday. She told me she had a toad in her yard that Drew might be interested in. So of course we came right over! I gave Drew a bunch of lessons on the proper (and safe!) care of toads and we took the toad home to start again. He took the toad with him at nap time and I saw to it that the cover was on his home and that he was in a safe spot. When I went to check on Drew, I noticed the cover was off! I called Cameron who noticed immediately that it was not far from where it should have been. Apparently Drew had taken off the cover and decided to cover the container with books instead. Wheh he fell asleep he must have kicked the books off. Thankfully it didn't go far! Baby Toad is doing just fine today. :) (For any animal rights activists who are reading this, we will be returning Baby Toad to the wild very soon)
Andrew in the meantime is really enjoying his little friend!
