Today I planned to spend the day at my parents and sister's house. My grandfather from Florida is up visiting for a while and decided he wanted to treat his granddaughters and great-grandchildren to lunch. It was a really nice treat! We told him he was brave to go into a restaurant with 8 kids!
My grandfather ("Bik"-I couldn't say "Gramps" when I was younger, it always came out as Bik and so it still is) just got back from 3 weeks in Haiti with his wife Cheryl. He had some great stories to tell us. He has a real heart for missions! It's good for us to hear his heart for those who don't know Jesus and we are glad our kids are hearing it too. I'm so glad he took the time to invest in our lives today.
