Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving day was so nice! Dad and Mom came over along with Mrs.Stone. After dinner, mom did a project with the kids. It was their "gift to the birds". They put peanut butter on pine cones and rolled them in bird seed. They did the same with orange slices. When they were finished they went outside and hung them on trees. They had so much fun! In our family, football is part of Thanksgiving. Dad, Matt and the boys hung out in the family room watching football. I guess they all have a little ADD since they couldn't sit still. Here the boys are wrestling with Dad. 3 on 1 doesn't seem very fair! :)

While the men folk were watching football, we girls were cleaning up, looking at old photos, eating , talking and at one point having a Christmas carol sing around the piano. Such fun!

I'm pretty sure that there was never a time in the day that someone wasn't eating something! Makes me so thankful for God's provision. God has been so good to our family (as usual!). I am thrilled that our kids can witness first hand His love and care for them. Of ALL the things I am thankful for, none compares to my God! He is not just a part of my life, He IS my life!

We have been waiting for your Thanksgiving post to see pictures of the 6 hour boston cream pie ... maybe that should have its very own post! Question ... did it take 6 hours to eat?

regarding the wrestling photo: You are right, three on one does not seem fair ---- to the boys!!! Your father is a big, strong, brute (but in a nice way)
