My dad started a really neat tradition a few years ago- He takes his kids and their spouses out for dinner sometime around Christmas. It was so nice to have my sister and her husband up from New Jersey and my brother and his wife up from Philadelphia. It's not very often that we're all together so we really enjoy when we are!
Sunday after church, dad and mom took us out and we enjoyed some great family time. We took Leah with us and Brianna stayed back at the house and was in charge of the other kiddos.

I (and I'm sure I speak for my brother and sisters as well) am so appreciative of my parents. It is such a blessing to have the godly heritage that I have. I have met so many people over the years and realize that my childhood was not the "norm". I grew up with two parents who loved God, each other and all of us kids! They trained us to always look to the Bible to know what's right, to be reminded of God's love for us, to find answers to any questions we have and most of all to get to know God better. That training has effected every choice I have made and still influences every area of my life. Thanks Mom and Dad!
It was exciting to introduce Leah to Ron and Bobbi. She loved Bobbi especially! Everytime she looked at her or talked to her she would smile. I noticed her following Bobbi with her eyes when she wasn't holding her too.
