I found a table football set at a thrift store for 50 cents the other day. Caleb and Drew have been having a great time with it! They set it up on the dining room table and play forever. I hear things like "I almost recovered the onsides kick!", "You'll never make that 52 yard field goal", "Should I go for it on 4th down or try for a field goal?", "I made it barely....BARELY!", "It hit the post! I can't believe I missed when I was so close. Wicked close!", "I'm Larry Fitzgerald, who are you?", "No good, no good!"
In writing it doesn't seem as cute as it really it so just trust me. It's so cute!
Since they also play football with a real ball and really tackle each other, I appreciate the lack of injuries in this version . It's very "mom friendly" :)
