I am sitting in a Starbucks parking lot here in Virigina taking advantage of internet service!

The ride down here from Ronnie's was supposed to be a four and a half hour drive. It ended up being a 9 hour drive. It was awful.... We got stuck in traffic averaging about 25 miles per hour for the whole trip! About 6 hours into it Leah decided she was all done driving.

When we arrived at our hosts' house (at 9:30pm!) we were given a wonderful meal of lasagna, garlic bread and salad. What a welcome!

Alissa had been coughing for 8 hours straight in the car and was happy to have a bed and get some sleep.

The next day, after a great night's sleep, We went to a meeting where we met the state board members,Matt gave a presentation and then we had some great pizza. Since Matt, Leah and I needed to do some other things, Sam and Caitlin took the kids to the Childrens' Museum in Richmond. They had a great time and were so happy to be able to run around and work out the kinks they had from driving so much.
