aiport field trip

The Manchester Airport is where we were at 7am on Thursday morning! We met Rachelle and her boys there for a field trip. We have a friend from church who works there and who SO NICELY agreed to show us around and explain how everything works.
Some of the highlights included:

  • seeing a police dog that searches for narcotics in the luggage

  • seeing where the luggage goes and how it gets onto the plane

  • going onto a plane

  • learning how high the planes fly and how fast they go

  • going into the cockpit and talking with a pilot

  • seeing where the communications center was and meeting some of the people there

  • there was so much more-too much to write about!

Our tour guide/friend, Matt did an excellent job and was so nice to the kids. They even got a snack! A field trip to remember.
