settling

Things are coming along here. "Settled" still isn't how I'm feeling, but we're getting there!
Matt spent all day yesterday at a Homschool convention promoting CEF at a booth they rented. He was able to talk to so many people! (being Matt, that was definitely his thing...he loved it) He is there again today and will be there tomorrow as well. Unfortunately for me a couple of the kids are sick so I wasn't able to go. However, Matt was able to attend a seminar yesterday all about highschool transcripts and he took great notes. I have already found that so helpful. (hard to believe I have a highschooler- I'm not the old!)
I'm just beginning to get excited about our upcoming school year. The laws in Virginia are different than in NH. More work on my part, but I'll just have to budget time to get the needed information in by the August 1 deadline. Also, unlike in NH, 5 year olds are required to be enrolled in school. So, even though I have been schooling Drew since last year, I will have to "report" him this year to the state. Again, just more work for me but I'll get it done :)
I took a couple more pictures of our home here. I obviously haven't done anything spectacular decorating-wise but that isn't a priority just yet. We are enjoying the space and are beginning to get used to where light switches and doorknobs are!
