Brianna's birthday

Brianna turned 15. It's amazing the miracle of children growing older while mothers stay the same age! At least that's what I like to think- otherwise I'd be feeling very old right now ;)
Matt and I took Brianna out for breakfast. Since neither Matt nor Bri are morning people, this is a pretty good picture!

Brianna has come a long way since last year. In fact, I think I've seen the biggest change in her in the last year than I ever have. She had a good birthday last year-she had a great birthday this year. She has grown in her walk with God, her relationship with her siblings, her relationships with her friends and in so many other ways. I was so happy at the end of the day to see the big smile on her face that was an indicator of how she had felt all day.



When you have a big family, birthday parties may look a little different. Brianna didn't mind a bit that her little brothers and sisters wanted to be a part of it!

Alyssa brought her guitar and sang Bri a special birthday song.

Matt took Brianna, Alyssa, Erik and Cameron bowling after lunch.




It wouldn't be right for me to write about how much Brianna means to our whole family and what an amazing girl we think she is. Just know we wouldn't trade her for anything!
