Each one of our children is so special- just for being who they are. They all have different things about them that make them so unique. Alissa though, was born at a time in our lives where the joy of just holding her was absolutely overwhelming. That joy sometimes STILL overwhelms me! She is such a sweet, funny, compassionate girl, so full of life. She makes us all so happy!
We took her out for her birthday breakfast a day early. It was her first time at Shoney's and she loved it!

Oh boy am I glad I read your blog..... I thought I was doing so well this year with birthdays and such, and somehow Alissa was left out of my reminder calendar.. I am soooooo verrrrrrrrrry sorry.
