We arrived at the retreat center on Sunday afternoon for the beginning of Christian Youth in Action training camp. Although the younger kids and I don't have an active role at camp this year, Matt likes for us to be here as a support to him and also so that the teens can see us as a family. Last year we stayed in a one room hotel room the whole week AND the temps were over 100 degrees every day. This year we are blessed to be able to stay in a double wide mobile home and the temperatures have been much more bearable :)
These pictures were taken Sunday as we were unpacking our things. Leah loved the wide open space of the outdoors. She found birds and bugs and loved all of them! She wanted so badly to pat a crow. She kept saying "I'm just going to pat the bird" as she walked closer. She was so disappointed when it flew away!
We are looking forward to what God is going to do this week!
