pastor derek

Our whole family was so blessed at church today by first, just being in God's house with His people, but secondly by an amazing message by our youth pastor. I actually was brought to tears a couple of times as I listened to the passion Pastor Derek has for seeing kids really know God. He also challenged the adults to show God to the next generation as well as to sacrifice for them. He said that truth and the things that we value most are not more than one generation away from extinction. He spoke from the book of Judges 3 and boy was it powerful!

I couldn't figure out how to get just his message on here but if anyone wants to hear even a little of it, move the bar to about 35 minutes into the service.

PLEASE pray for our kids!!!! For church kids, for non-church kids, for homeschool kids, for public school kids, for big kids and little kids. We don't want to lose an entire generation
of Christians! They have so much going against them in this culture and it will take prayer, love , support, mentoring and a good example for them to be able to stand up for God and for what is right.

Praise God for youth pastors like Derek and my brother-in-law Adam who love God so much and show His love to the teenagers. Pray for them too!
