You're looking at the 6 year old who took first place in the intermediate division of a chess tournament last Saturday! In Matt's spare time he enjoys teaching the kids chess. Cameron and Caleb have been competing in tournaments since last year. Alissa entered her first one this last Saturday and went 2 and 2. We are so proud of her! Cameron played in the Open division against the oldest and highest rated players. He did an excellent job and expects his rating to go up as a result!
Andrew can set up a board and knows how the pieces move and Brianna.....well, it's just a little too boring for her!
