It wasn't long after breakfast that she opened her presents. She loved the baby that Great Grammy sent her.
Her new chair is just the right size!
The farm from Nanny and Grandpops kept her busy for a long time. It was hard to get her attention away from it to open her other gifts.
Throughout the day she would say "Happy Birthday, Cam" or "Happy Birthday, Ali". She would talk about birthdays, sing the birthday song and then say "candles" and blow out imaginary ones. So cute!While I was making lunch I heard someone call Mommy. It sounded muffled and it took me a minute to realize it was Leah and she was in one of the kitchen cupboards :)
One of the highlights of today for Leah was when Nanny and Grandpops and Great Grammy skyped us and sang Happy Birthday to her. She remembers Great Grammy from the last Skype call they had a few days ago. (this was Leah's view)
Grammy told the kids she wanted a hug and everyone leaned into the camera. Well, today when Leah saw Grammy again, she kept saying "Bammy, hug!" Leah doesn't remember, but her Great Grammy made it to the hospital to see newborn Leah when she was only an hour or two old. It was very special for me as I am super close to my grandmother and was so glad to have her there.
Anyway, by the time it was bedtime she was a very tired two year old. It was a really fun day for all of us!

I am still amazed and thankful for a God who so highly values life. I thank Him daily for every life He has brought into our family. Everyone of them is so special!
