surprise

This past Wednesday, I went to Bible study only to find out there wasn't any Bible study. It was a baby shower for me! There are so many things I could say. I have felt a bit alone in this pregnancy since the beginning. Not alone-alone, just alone without family and friends. I really felt like I DID have friends and even "family" on Wednesday night. The ladies there went way out of their way to reach out to me and they really demonstrated God's love to me. They wrote out prayers for baby Micah and I left convinced that he will be blessed to be a part of this church family. Just like we are.
I got so many nice things! I have also had a great burden of responsibilty taken off me by having ladies from the church bring me meals. What a huge help! This pregnancy has been.....difficult. It has been so neat to see the family of God come together like this and be such a blessing to me and to our whole family!
