pumpkin patch

Today was a beautiful day to go on a field trip to a pumpkin patch! The homeschool group we are a part of was going today and I took just Caleb and Alissa. It was so different having just the 2 of them but it was really nice too. They are a great age to enjoy all of what they did today. I get so used to how they interact with all of their brothers and sisters that seeing just them together was very sweet.

We went on a little hay ride out to the patch and each picked out a pumpkin to take home.

They absolutely loved the hay maze. They are the perfect size for it too!

There were goats to feed.

And a little cabin to play in!

Alissa loved playing in the corn. Anyone who knows her will understand how this could have been her favorite part :)

It's days like today that remind me to say, "This is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it!"
