The man in the picture with Matt is one that in the 2 years that they knew each other influenced Matt in a way that no other has. He taught Matt so much about being a leader and a godly man. He not only taught in words but also by example. He invested deeply into Matt's life which is why Matt told me that a little piece of Bill will always live on in him.
Bill Willaford is in the presence of Jesus now- the One he spent his life committed to make sure children were given the opportunity to know personally. Matt will miss him and so will I.
